Company
Filmschaft maas & füllmich GmbH was founded in 2011 by Torben Maas and Christian Füllmich. In the same year, they co-produced with Bayerischer Rundfunk the HFF graduation film THE CLASS ENEMY by Martin Nudow, a 30-minute colorful East-West comedy, as well as the debut film NEMEZ by Stanislav Güntner, starring Emilia Schüle and Mark Filatov, in co-production with ZDF Das kleine Fernsehspiel. In 2013, the producers were awarded the VGF Young Producer Award at the Bavarian Film Awards for their first feature film and, as a company, received a three-year grant for the Bavarian Film Center.
In 2015, filming followed on the FFF Bayern-funded coming-of-age comedy PRETTY FAR FROM OKAY by Helena Hufnagel starring Luise Heyer. The production premiered in 2017 in competition at the Max Ophüls Preis Film Festival. It was followed by numerous international festival awards, including BEST FEATURE at the Bushwick Film Festival New York. In July 2017, the film was self-distributed to over 130 theaters and reached nearly 20,000 admissions with a minimal release budget. This was followed in July 2018 by its first broadcast as part of 'Debut im Ersten'.
The focus of filmschaft maas & füllmich GmbH is on the development and production of its own fictional material, which is developed and realized together with established filmmakers, as well as promising up-and-coming talent. The goal of each production is set individually and includes ambitious festival films as well as high-profile indie films and series that are of international relevance. The producers attach great importance to accompanying each project very closely from start to finish.
In addition to their own productions, Torben Maas and Christian Füllmich have worked on a number of cinema and TV productions as executive producers, line producers or production managers for third-party production companies or producers in recent years. most recently for BerghausWöbke Filmproduktion on MONDAY UM ZEHN (director: Mareille Klein) and THE COLONY (director: Tim Fehlbaum) or for PANTALEON Films on COMMITMENT PHOBIA (director: Helena Hufnagel) and HISTORY OF MANKIND - SLIGHTLY SHORTENED (director: Erik Haffner).
Constantin Film is producing a new film for Prime Video, the adaptation of Kerstin Gier's bestseller "SILVER" (WT) (director: Helena Hufnagel), with filmschaft acting as line producer. Filming is currently taking place in Dublin and London in German and English. The film will be shown worldwide exclusively on Prime Video in 2023.

Torben Maas
Torben Maas was born in Rheda-Wiedenbrück and grew up in East Westphalia. After graduating from high school, he studied media management with a focus on TV/film production at the MHMK in Munich and participated in various film projects as a production member. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in 2009, he worked for a short time in various advertising agencies as a project manager before switching back to film production and working as a production manager. Among other things, he was responsible for Claudia Heindel's HFF graduation film "Lucky Seven", which was shot in Northern Ireland.
In 2011, he founded the film production company filmschaft maas & füllmich together with Christian Füllmich and has since been a producer with a focus on all creative production aspects. In addition to his production work, he is also involved as a guest lecturer in the field of production and media management at the Macromedia University of Applied Sciences in Munich.
Christian Füllmich
Christian Füllmich was born in Leipzig and grew up near Ulm. After graduating from high school in 2005, he moved to Munich to gain experience in various areas of film production, including TV60, Pro GmbH and Olga Film. In the process, he worked on productions such as "Kommissarin Lucas", "Polizeiruf 110", "Unter Verdacht" and the feature film "Vincent will mehr". In 2006, he began studying media management with a focus on TV/film production at the MHMK in Munich. In 2009, he spent time in Australia, where he worked in the film industry there. After returning to Germany, he worked for various TV, feature and commercial film productions as a producer and production manager and was involved in Susan Gordanshekan's contribution "Eisblumen" for the Berlinale, among others.
In 2011, he founded the film production company filmschaft maas & füllmich together with Torben Maas and has since been working as a producer with a focus on financial production aspects.
